Viktor's ads strategy: an AI hire for agencies, new creative every week

Viktor runs 879 active Meta ads, about 500 on Google and up to 944 on LinkedIn. Every Meta ad we sampled launched in the last 23 days.

Published . Ads collected from the public Meta, Google and LinkedIn ad libraries.

Viktor had 879 active Meta ads when we checked, and every one of the 110 we sampled launched between September 29 and October 21, 2026. That is a full creative turnover inside 23 days, with new batches shipped almost every other day. The pitch is one idea repeated in dozens of scenes: Viktor is an AI employee you hire inside Slack or Microsoft Teams, and the person most often doing the hiring is an agency owner or media buyer.

Key findings

  • All 110 Meta ads in our sample started in the last 23 days; 22 went live on September 29 and 18 on October 20.
  • The product is framed as a person: "He reads Slack. He never sleeps." The word Slack appears in 82 of 110 ads, Teams in 60.
  • Agencies are the main target: 32 ads mention clients, 16 mention agencies and 7 name the media buyer by job title.
  • 20 of 110 ads (18%) run under a creator's name, including Ali Abdaal and Inc. 5000 founder Mina Elias; 13 of them use tracked referral links.
  • 87 of 110 ads use Sign up as the CTA, and 93 send traffic to the homepage rather than a dedicated landing page.
  • The user count drifts between ads: 45,000+ teams in 19 ads, 60,000+ in 5 creator ads, and 72,000+ on the homepage.
  • On LinkedIn, 11 of the 12 cards we captured are personal posts from the co-founder, a growth lead and paid creators, promoted by viktor.com.

The copy sells a hire, then proves it with a dollar figure

Almost every headline compares Viktor to a person or to money you would otherwise spend. "The media buyer that never logs off", "The best hire never sleeps" and "Employee of the month is an AI" cast it as staff. A second group puts a price on the alternative: "Skip the fifteen grand agency quote", "Stop paying $12,000 a month for agency busywork", "Quoted $30K. Viktor built it in 7 min". In our sample, 26 of 110 ads contain a dollar sign.

The bodies read like Slack messages from a real account manager. One ad: "A client's landing page dropped to 0.8% conversion. Your media buyer sends one Slack message: check GA4, fix the hero in Webflow and launch the new version in Google Ads." The creative shows exactly that: a fake Webflow hero tagged "updated by Viktor" above a Slack bubble from "Sam, Media buyer". The Q4 ad does the same with a checklist of Viktor's steps: checking October results on Meta, the brand guide in Drive, then "Building the deck: 12 slides, ready for review".

Most-repeated Meta headlines in our 110-ad sample. 12 carousels use plain "Viktor" and 11 ads have no headline.

Viktor also names rivals in copy. One ad launched on October 20 opens with "Anthropic shipped their take on it last week" and pitches Viktor as "not locked to one lab". Another is headlined "Even ChatGPT picks Viktor". A third model-routing series ("No single model is best at everything") holds impressions ranks 3 and 4. Agency ads cluster around the same jobs the agencies page lists: client reports, pacing checks, Q4 decks and dashboards.

Designed statics win the top slots while video fills the volume

Video makes up 70 of the 110 ads we sampled (64%), and Meta reported 499 active video ads in total. But the four ads Meta ranked highest by impressions are carousels: two copies of "He builds software, too" (a purple pixel space invader over a bar chart) and two of "Ever tried painting a wall with a screwdriver?", a paint-splattered man in a suit holding a screwdriver next to a bucket of rollers. Across the 30 ads Meta ranked, video falls to 13, with 8 dynamic, 6 carousel and 3 image ads.

The statics borrow formats people stop for. One is a fake r/AskReddit thread ("Another $160K senior hire isn't happening") with 342K upvotes and replies praising Viktor. Another is a marble museum monolith carved with keyboards and spreadsheets: "Busywork is going extinct." The legal series is a hand holding a purple sticky note: "Chasing paralegals for case updates, Auditing HubSpot for uncalled leads, Checking the court calendar at 6am".

The top-ranked carousels and statics: pixel art, a staged photo, a fake Reddit thread, a stone monolith and a sticky note.

One in six Meta ads runs under a creator's name

20 of the 110 ads (18%) carry a creator's name instead of Viktor's page: Mina Elias (7), Ali Abdaal (4), Mitch Conquer (3), Beca_Tries, Halle Foster and Lead Gen Man (2 each). All 20 are video. These are partnership ads: the creator's name and face, Viktor's targeting and budget. The scripts are first-person: "I run Trivium Group, #170 on the Inc. 5000. We manage $700M a year for brands on Amazon." Ali Abdaal's ad opens with "Comment VIKTOR for $100 worth of free work :)".

The in-house video uses the same look. Founder-style talking heads, a man walking into an office with the caption "Viktor basically runs like", and a two-actor skit on a patio captioned "No more 'Just checking in...' calls. The agency". A shaky selfie clip reads "pov your small team can't handle it all". Little of it looks like a brand ad.

Creator and UGC-style video: Mina Elias, Beca_Tries, the agency skit and a POV selfie clip.

Nearly all traffic goes to the homepage and a $100 free-credit signup

93 of 110 ads link to the viktor.com homepage, 88 of them with no tracking at all. Its hero says "Not a tool. A hire.", its button goes to signup, and it offers $100 in free credits with no card. Paid starts at $100 a month for 40,000 workspace credits, shared across the team rather than per seat. 11 ads mention the free credits directly, and one dynamic ad reframes the paid tier as "Your next 50 ads on 40,000 free credits".

The other links are tracked. ref.viktor.com links redirect to the homepage with a creator tag (Mina Elias's adds via=mina) or with UTM parameters. The "S-tier tool is an employee" series uses ref.viktor.com/meta-ranking-ab, which resolves to utm_campaign=ranking_ad_lp_test: a landing-page test running on Meta. Creator ads tagged trybe= and the two legal-vertical ads, which point to a /r/ link that only shows a redirect and a signup button, round out the set.

The proof numbers do not match each other. Brand ads say 45,000+ teams (19 ads), creator ads say 60,000+ (5 ads), the homepage says 72,000+, and the business ad claims 3,200+ integrations while the agencies page lists 9,800+. The figures likely reflect growth over time, but they now run side by side.

Google captures searches; LinkedIn is run through people

Google's Transparency Center shows about 500 ads for viktor.com under the verified advertiser ZETA AI, Inc. Of the 12 we captured, 5 are text and 7 are video. The search ads go after intent: "Slack Ai Agent" with sitelinks for "Add Viktor to Slack" and "Try Viktor Free", a pricing ad listing "Team Plan: $100 Per Month", and a competitor-term ad, "N8n: Open-Source Workflow vs AI Coworker | Viktor Blog", sending n8n searchers to a comparison post. The video headlines repeat the Meta lines: "Viktor works while you don't" and "One AI coworker. Every model." One text ad pointing to viktor.com is run by a different verified advertiser, Fitness and Health by Faisal Ltd, with the headline "getviktor". It looks like a third party bidding on the brand.

LinkedIn's Ad Library returns up to 944 ads for "Viktor". All 12 cards we captured are promoted by viktor.com, and 11 of them are personal posts. Co-founder Fryd Wiatrowski's post announcing the $75M Series A led by Accel (reported in May 2026) appears on 3 cards. A team member titled "make the number go up @ viktor.com" promotes a creator program: "$10K cash per post. Or $15K in viktor credits". Creators and agency founders fill the rest, such as Jordan Murphy's "I run a growth agency" post on 3 cards. The single brand-page ad reads "You've seen the ads. This is the trial.", a line written for people the other ads already reached.

What to take from it

  1. Ship creative in batches and let Meta sort it. Viktor's whole sample is under 23 days old, with 22 ads on one day and 18 on another. Volume plus fast replacement beats polishing a few ads.
  2. Write the ad as the job, not the feature. "Check GA4, fix the hero in Webflow and launch the new version in Google Ads" shows a buyer the exact task they would delegate.
  3. Keep one or two loud statics in the mix. Video is 64% of the sample, but the four highest-ranked ads are carousels with one strong visual joke each.
  4. Pay creators for first-person scripts and tag every link. 18% of Meta ads run under creator names and 13 of those 20 carry a creator-specific link. Tag all of them so attribution survives the handoff.
  5. Keep proof numbers in sync. Running 45,000+, 60,000+ and 72,000+ at the same time invites doubt. Update the claim everywhere when it changes.

How we collected this

We read the Meta Ad Library, Google Ads Transparency Center and LinkedIn Ad Library logged out on 2026-10-21. Meta reported 879 active ads for the Viktor page; we sampled 110 from several first-page views (top by impressions, newest, image, video, per country), so percentages describe the sample, not all 879. Impressions rank is Meta's own ordering of active ads, not spend. Meta shows no spend data for ads delivered outside the EU, and we report none. The LinkedIn total comes from a fuzzy name search and is an upper bound.
